Yorkshire Water confirmed today that Charlotte Road will not reopen until at least Friday (February 14), meaning the road will have been closed for almost two weeks following the damage.

The area around Queens Road and Charlotte Road on the A61 was under water when the mains initially burst on the evening of February 3, with thousands of gallons of water pouring onto the carriageway.
