South Yorkshire Police issue 'no travelling' advice as snow continues to fall
Motorists are being urged by South Yorkshire Police to avoid travelling in the snow today.
With snow forecast for most of the day and a weather warning in place, the force is urging to people to only travel if necessary.
In a tweet, the force said: “It is set to snow all day today and there is already a blanket covering of snow on a lot of roads in South Yorkshire.
“Please only travel if you really do need to, and if you do, take extra care.”
