Snow starts to cause disruption for road users in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire

Snow is starting to cause problems for motorists in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire this morning as wintry weather sweeps across the region.

Motorists using the Snake Pass and Woodhead Pass are reporting heavy snowfall.

The roads were both open at 7.45am today, but the conditions were said to be treacherous.
