Sheffield city centre street closed and homes left without water after burst water main

A statement from Yorkshire Water warned that some properties in the area could be without water or experience low pressure due to the incident.

Workers are currently at the site and are working to resolve the issue.

A Travel South Yorkshire spokesperson said: “Carver Street in Sheffield City Centre remains closed due to a burst water main, expected to last until later today.

"The diversion for service 51 has been amended.”
