Sheffield boy winning fight for life after bus crash in Sheffield

A boy seriously injured in a collision with a double decker bus in Sheffield is winning his fight for life.

The 13-year-old was struck by a bus, operated by Stagecoach, on Retford Road, Handsworth, at around 7.35am on Monday, December 2.

The collision occurred close to the junction with Beaver Hill Road.

He suffered serious head injuries in the collision but South Yorkshire Police said he ‘looks like he is doing much better’ now.

The teen remains in hospital but is now stable.
