Saville Street East closed by crash near Attercliffe, Sheffield

A street in Sheffield was closed in both directions this afternoon after a car crash near Attercliffe.

The incident happened at around 3pm, with police warning drivers to avoid the area.

South Yorkshire Police have put an alert out to warn road users of the incident. It said: “Saville Street East in Sheffield is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision.

“Please avoid the area and take alternative routes where possible.”

There has been no update from police since then.
