Police reopen all lanes on M1 near Sheffield following collision

Officers have reopened all lanes of the M1 Southbound, near to Sheffield after a road traffic collision caused sections to be closed earlier this morning.

Drivers were warned of delays of up to an hour following a crash on the motorway which forced two lanes between junction 38 to 37 to be closed.

South Yorkshire Police tweeted: “The M1 Southbound Junction 38-37 is now back open to all lanes.
