No trams to run between Gleadless and Sheffield Station due to ‘planned works’ next week
No trams will be running from Gleadless Townend and Sheffield Station on Monday, February 24 due to essential engineering work on City Road.
Stagecoach, who are responsible for the tram network, apologised for the disruption, adding that the works are ‘essential’.
Blue Route trams will run between Halfway and Gleadless Townend, and Sheffield Station to Malin Bridge.
A replacement bus service will be operating between Gleadless Townend and Fitzalan Square.
Commuters travelling from Gleadless Townend can catch the replacement bus, which will operate every 15 minutes, across the road fro the tram stop.
Tram tickets will also be accepted on alternative Stagecoach and First bus services in the affected areas.
There are also no tram services to or from Hedings Park for the duration of that day.
A normal timetable will apply to the Yellow route and on the tram train service.
