‘No speeding issues’ on estate road after petition calling for safety measures
A petition raising concerns about speeding traffic on the Full House Estate garnered 102 signatures and called on the council to monitor vehicle speeds on Tennyson Road and assess safety concerns.
The petition was handed in to BMBC on May 13, and the council says that following an assessment of road safety on the estate, ‘no collision cluster sites or speeding issues have been identified’.

Hide AdThe response to the petition, which is to be considered by the council’s cabinet at their next meeting on July 10, states: “The traffic team will provide suitable warning signs for the Tennyson Road / Warwick Road bend on bothapproaches, and both roads will be added to the Speed Indicator Device deployment rota.
“No other action can be supported by the council at this time.”
