Man in 'serious condition' following Sheffield crash

A 28-year-old man had to be cut out of his car following a crash on a Sheffield road that left him in a serious condition.

South Yorkshire Police (SYP) said the collision took place outside the Old Bus Stop Public House on Attercliffe Common at 11.22am on Wednesday, March 25.

The driver of a yellow Mitsubishi coupe, a 28-year-old man from Sheffield, was cut from his car and taken to hospital by ambulance. His condition is described as serious but stable.

A spokesman for SYP said: “We know there are not as many people out and about as usual, but anyone with dash cam of the incident, or CCTV of the area is urged to come forward.

“Officers are also particularly interested in hearing from anybody who saw a grey 2004 Seat that is believed to have been in the area at the time.”
