Major Sheffield city centre reopens after collision

Sheffield Parkway has reopened after it was closed following a collision this morning, police have confirmed.

South Yorkshire Police and ambulance crews were at the scene of the crash and closed the road on the side inbound to the city.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were notified of a collision just before 8am this morning, 30 January.

"It looks like two vehicles have collided just after the Makro turning. It is believed there are minor injuries.”

The road reopened at around 1pm thias afternoon.
