Two lanes of the M1 are shut just before Woodall, reportedly resulting in a six-mile queue leading from Barlborough all the way to Doe Lea in Derbyshire, with an average speed of five miles per hour. Congestion is also building up around the Aston Interchange.

Commuters trying to reach Sheffield this morning are being advised to plan around the severe delay.
