M1 stretch of Tinsley Viaduct closed to high-sided vehicles as Storm Gareth hits Sheffield
A stretch of the M1 motorway near Sheffield has been closed to high-sided vehicles as Storm Gareth continues to bring high winds to the area.
Highways England said the Tinsley Viaduct at junction 34 near Meadowhall was closed in both directions.
Vehicles have been advised to leave the motorway at the junction and use the lower deck.
