The M1 in Sheffield has been closed due to flooding.

The motorway is closed southbound between junctions 32 and 30 after what Highways England says is a possible burst water main left the carriageway flooded.

Highways England said that its contractors were en route and Yorkshire Water was at the scene.

In the latest update, posted shortly after 12.30pm, it said the diversion route was yet to be confirmed.
