Long delays and four lanes blocked after multi-vehicle M1 crash near Sheffield
A four-vehicle crash has blocked four lanes on the M1 in Derbyshire, with traffic stopped.

Traffic officers and Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service are in attendance following the accident on the southbound carriageway between Junction 29A Markham Vale Services, A6192 for Bolsover and Junction 29 A617 for Chesterfield.
Highways England said there are delays of “at least 45 minutes” above usual journey times from Junction 30 following the crash. Traffic cameras showed significant tailbacks.
It is not yet known if anyone has been injured in the crash.
