Drivers urged to avoid 'extremely dangerous' Sheffield M1 junction after water main burst
Motorists are being urged to avoid junction 31 of the M1 after a water main burst.

The southbound slip lane is still shut following yesterday’s incident.
A Yorkshire Water spokesman said: “Our key workers have fixed the pipeline, however due to the significant amount of damage to the highway, it’ll take us a little while to get the road rebuilt.
“It is important to follow the official diversion - ignoring it could be extremely dangerous.”
The road is expected to reopen by the weekend.
