Driver 'loses control' and crashes Mercedes into parked cars on snowy Sheffield road

The driver of a Mercedes crashed into three cars on Roach Road, Sharrow before running away, police have confirmed.

Witnesses say that the grey soft-top Mercedes Benz C-Class travelled down Penrhyn Road before ‘losing control’ while turning onto Roach Road.

It crashed into three parked cars before the occupants ran away.

The Emergency services were called at 7.29am today (February 12).

A spokesperson for SYP said: “Officers attended Roach Road in Sheffield today alongside Yorkshire Ambulance Service and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, following reports that a grey Mercedes had collided with three parked cars.

“It is believed that there were four people in the car. Two passengers and the driver are reported to have fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

“A third passenger was treated on scene by the ambulance service. His injuries are not-believed to be life-threatening.
