Commuter misery as these trains from Sheffield station are cancelled due to disruption

A number of trains due to depart from Sheffield station have been cancelled this morning (December 4) due to continued disruption on the lines carrying on from yesterday.

There are a number of cancellations at Sheffield station this morning.

South Yorkshire Travel have made commuters aware of seven trains to or from Sheffield station that are not running, as well as others due to depart from Doncaster and Chesterfield.

This follows severe disruption last night, when a large number of services were cancelled or faced long delays due to signalling problems.

The trains that have been announced as cancelled so far are:

07:35 Sheffield to Huddersfield

07:59 Sheffield to Gainsborough Central

08:26 Sheffield to St Pancras

08:53 Sheffield to Gainsborough Central

09:29 Sheffield to St Pancras

09:53 Sheffield to Gainsborough Central

Disruption also reported on the lines between Sheffield and Chesterfield.

09:08 Darnall to Sheffield

07:47 Doncaster to Kings Cross

07:59 Doncaster to Bridlington
