Rotherham Central railway station is flooded this morning, with all lines blocked.

Stagecoach Supertram has suspended trams between Tinsley and Parkgate in both directions due to the high water level in the River Don, but trams will run between Sheffield Cathedral and Meadowhall.

Because of flooding issues in Wincobank, bus services 208, 18, X1 and X10 will be diverted away from Meadowhall Drive along Weedon Street, Meadowhall Road and then into Meadowhall Interchange

Sheffield Council has urged motorists to take care on the roads today.

It’s roads contractor, Streets Ahead, said: “Our gritters were out overnight treating the city's roads following heavy rain and snow showers.

“Please take extra care today if you need to travel as icy conditions are expected.”
