One of four lanes is currently closed on the southbound carriageway of the motorway between J33 for Rotherham and J32 for Sheffield this morning (Thursday, December 17
Traffic cameras show there are slight queues on approach and that a recovery operation is underway.
The incident is expected to clear between 9.45am and 10am this morning, said Highways England.
