Rail passengers have been warned to expect delays this morning after a train came off the tracks near Sheffield.
Services between Sheffield and Leeds are unable to operate, according to East Midlands trains, after the 'low speed derailment' of a freight train.
Network rail is working to reopen the line and restore normal service, but trains could be delays for some time.
East Midlands Trains has advised customers travelling between Sheffield and Leeds to use alternative routes.
Other operators will accept East Midlands Trains tickets this morning.
Customers travelling on the 9.50am and 10.50am Leeds to London St Pancras services can travel on the Virgin Train East Coast services at 10.05am and 11.05am.
