All clear on the M1 after multi-vehicle collision near Sheffield caused long delays
The all clear has been given on the M1 after a multi-vehicle collision caused major delays this morning.
The crash occurred at the junction of the M1 and the A629 at Crowley Hill.
Lanes are open and traffic is now moving freely.
Earlier this morning, the collision caused congestion and delays of 45 minutes across all lanes on the southbound side between J35 and J37 near Barnsley.
Traffic had been at a standstill while recovery work was going on.
One lane on the southbound side was initially closed.
The incident was first reported at 7.40am this morning (November 27). No injuries have been confirmed.
