CHARITY worker Dave Roberts will be flexing his muscles next week by taking part in a sponsored Minibus Pull to raise cash for Comic Relief.

Dave, aged 31, an employee at North Doncaster Development Trust, will be harnessed to NDDT’s big red Community Transport minibus weighing 3,500kg – 35 times more than his own body weight.

He will attempt to pull the bus 230ft, using only his brute strength, outside the Bentley Resource Centre next Friday.

Dave said: “A lot of my friends say to me that I don’t know my own strength sometimes!

“So now I am going to put my strength to the test and hopefully make lots of money for a great cause in the process.”

Dave is appealing for supporters to sponsor him at his Red Nose Day Giving Page.
