Tram services are now operating as normal after a collision yesterday caused traffic chaos for commuters.
Two trams crashed at Shalesmoor yesterday morning, leading to the suspension of services between Shalesmoor, Middlewood and Malin Bridge.
Three casualties were taken to hospital following the crash.
The trams have since been removed from the track they were blocking.
A spokesperson for Supertram said: “Last night our engineers carried out extensive work to the tram damaged in a low speed collision at Shalesmoor
on Thursday morning.
“As a result the trams have been successfully removed from the site to the depot and all timetabled services have resumed as planned this morning.
“We’d like to apologise to passengers for the inconvenience this has caused and thank them for their patience.”
