Supertram staff also staged a 24-hour strike on Monday but no further talks between bosses and the union Unite, representing workers, have taken place.
Unite claims workers want a 50p-an-hour increase but have been offered 26p.
A 72-hour strike between July 20 and 22 - the weekend of the Tramlines festival in Sheffield - is also planned.
