Disabled people and carers have the chance to discover more about employment rights at an event in Sheffield.
Disability Sheffield is holding a free training session at The Circle, on Rockingham Lane, in the city centre on Monday, January 19.
It is aimed at anyone living with a disability who employs a personal assistant or someone who cares for a disabled person.
The session will include information and advice on a range of topics surrounding employment rights and legislation.
Tess Daley, peer coaching and mentoring project co-ordinator at Disability Sheffield, said: “I think a lot of people don’t understand their employment rights fully and this session aims to help them achieve that.
“For new employers it will give them useful and insightful information from the very beginning of employment, and existing employers can leave the session with extra information they may not have known before.”
The session is from 10.30am to 3pm.
