DONCASTER Council’s Bentley Training Centre is offering help and support to residents who have recently been made redundant - and bosses say in many cases it will be for free.
A number of courses are on offer including food hygiene, job search skills, vehicle maintenance, DIY skills, and basic plumbing.
Coun Mark Thompson, cabinet member for finance and corporate services, said: “If you are under notice of redundancy, have recently been made redundant or are unemployed, you could be eligible for free support and training.”
For an informal chat call Bentley Training Centre on 01302 862650.
Proof of unemployment or risk of redundancy must be provided, and those taking part in the courses must be aged over 18.
