Trailer spills 200 boxes of coat hangers, closes Sheffield road

A Sheffield road was blocked in both directions after 200 boxes of coat hangers spilled from a trailer which hit a railway bridge.

Nether Lane in Ecclesfield was partially blocked between the A629 Cowley Lane junction and the A6135 after the incident.

A vehicle was pulling a trailer carrying the coat hangers when the trailer hit the bridge and the hangers spilled across the road.

Police were called to the accident at 12.45pm today and the road was closed until 3.20pm.

No-one was injured.
