Tragic mum pays tribute to young daughter on Facebook day before death crash in Barnsley

A mum who died in a horror crash in Barnsley spoke of her love for her young daughter on Facebook the day before she died.

Lorna Humble, aged 29, who died in a collision on Industry Road, Carlton, yesterday afternoon, spoke of looking forward to life in a post on Facebook the day before tragedy struck.

Lorna was in a Citroen C1 which was involved in a collision with a concrete mixer lorry and a Vauxhall Vectra.

A 27-year-old woman travelling in the same car as Lorna was left fighting for life after the crash.

The other motorists involved in the collision escaped unharmed.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
