Traffic disruption after car crashes into wall in Sheffield suburb

The incident took place on High Street in Ecclesfield at its junction with Yew Lane early this afternoon.

It is believed a car collided with a stone wall, partly destroying it.

South Yorkshire Police have yet to comment on the incident and it is not known at this stage if there are any injuries.

Buses in the area are being diverted along Ecclesfield Common.
