Traffic is building on a busy Sheffield road after an early morning crash.

Ecclesall Road was partially blocked following the crash at around 8.20am.

The road was not closed as a result of the crash but First South Yorkshire said their services were being delayed as a result.

Motorists said it was 'chaos' on the road following the crash.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: "At around 8.20am this morning it was reported a black Vauxhall Corsa and blue Taxi had collided on Ecclesall Road, Sheffield.

"Those involved are believed to have sustained minor injuries and the road was blocked for a short time."
