Wellington Street: Sheffield city centre street to close for two years for construction of £100m CODE flats
A Sheffield city centre road is set to be closed for two years due to building works.
Wellington Street, between Rockingham and Trafalgar streets, will be closed for 24 months, warning signs state.

The section runs past the entrance to a busy Tesco Express.

Sheffield City Council’s roadworks website states it is to ‘facilitate the building site’ and will last until September 2027.
Across the road, developer CODE is building a £100m complex of more than 1,000 flats.
