The tram train fleet was withdrawn from service last weekend on the advice of the manufacturer while checks were carried out.

It has not yet been revealed what checks were needed but Stagecoach Supertram announced today that services have resumed.

There are now two tram trains an hour running until further notice.

Stagecoach Supertram said: “Apologies if you have been affected by recent disruption.”
