Sheffield United road closures: Every closed road ahead of open top bus parade

Sheffield United will be celebrating promotion to the Premier League on Tuesday May 7 with an open top bus parade from Bramall Lane to the Town Hall.

These are the road closures and parking restrictions for the Sheffield United open top bus parade.

Thousands of people are expected to line the streets for the event, which will take place between 5.15pm and 8pm. As a result there will be a number of road closures and parking restrictions. All full closures are expected to be in place from 2pm to 9.30pm. There will also be a rolling road closure following the bus as it travels. Here is the full list:

Norfolk St (restricted access beyond Norfolk Row junction)
Surrey Street will be closed, and parking will be suspended throughout the day.

Norfolk Row will be closed around the Norfolk Street junction.
Fargate will be closed between 2pm and 9.30pm.
Access will be allowed as far as Leopold Square for taxis and from Orchard Lane towards West Street only (while crowds allow)
Closed on the outbound between Surrey Street and Cross Burgess Street. Parking will also be suspended all day.
Exit will be possible towards Cross Burgess Street and Cambridge Street onto Division Street.
The streets around the town hall will be closed, including Balm Green.
