Man left fighting for life in hospital after falling from Sheffield Parkway bridge

The man plunged from a bridge across the Sheffield Parkway and was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The dual carriageway was closed for a time but has since re-opened.

An air ambulance landed after a man fell from a bridge on the Sheffield Parkway earlier today.

The incident is one of a number on the region’s road today including a pile up on the A628 at Flouch and a collision between a pedestrian and vehicle on the M1 between Barnsley and Tankersley.
