Major delays as 'vehicle leaves carriageway' in accident on M1 on outskirts of South Yorkshire

Motorists are facing major delays this morning as a vehicle has left the carriageway in an accident on the M1 near Barnsley.
Highways England said the incident happened northbound between junctions 38 and 39 and is an 'accident involving a vehicle that has left the carriageway.'
The organisation said motorists can expect delays until about 11.45am. No details about injuries or the condition of any members of the public involved has been released yet.
