M1 motorway near Sheffield partially closed after crash

The M1 motorway has been partially closed following a crash this morning, Sunday, February 2.

Highways England said one lane had been closed southbound between junctions 30 and 31 due to the collision.

The closure is causing some disruption but Highways England said that traffic is expected to return to normal by 11am.

It is not known at this stage what vehicles were involved and whether anyone has been injured.
