Police, firefighters and paramedics are at the scene following the collision involving a number 56 bus and a grey car at the junction of London Road and Boston Street, close to the Sainsbury’s Local store, just south of the city centre.
Buses have been placed on diversion and one witness said traffic was at a ‘standstill’ during the evening rush hour.
