Fallen tree leads to partial closure of Sheffield road

Part of Stanwood Road, Stannington is closed this afternoon.

First Buses said their 82 service is being diverted down Stannington Road as a consequence of the closure.

Speaking on Twitter, a spokesman for First Buses said: “Service 82 unable to use Stanwood Rd due to Half of the road been closed and temp traffic lights been put in place.

“On the corner of the turn there is a tree that will cause a hazard if attempted. Buses are running in to city down Stannington Road.”
