Extra traffic and longer delays warning as Sheffield United host Manchester City at Bramall Lane

South Yorkshire Police has warned travelling football fans that they could face delays on their way to Bramall Lane tonight.

Journeys are estimated to take up to 30 minutes longer during rush hour due to roadworks on the A616 between Flouch roundabout and Stocksbridge.

The build-up of traffic is expected to affect those travelling to watch Sheffield United take on Manchester City at Bramall Lane this evening (January 21).

Drivers are advised to allow for extra time if using that route.
