Town march on in trophy

DINNINGTON Town cruised through to the second round of the Wilkinson Sword Trophy with a 5-2 win at Leeds Met Carnegie last night.

Town showed their superiority from the off and took the lead, on four minutes a Kieran Gallagher Cross finished off by Ant Lynam.

Leeds levelled on 30 minutes from a penalty through Paul Harrison but Town regained the lead a minute later through Ben Rosser and, a minute from half-time, Brad Elam was provider again with a ball the keeper fumbled for Matt Wragg to net.
