Top radio DJ to play club
RADIO One DJ Tim Westwood is to play a set at Doncaster's Priory Club on Lazarus Walk on Thursday August 30.
The hip hop expert and presenter of MTV show Pimp My Ride hit the headlines in 1999 when he was shot during a drive-by shooting in Kennington, London. He received hospital treatment for bullet wounds to his arm.
The son of the Bishop of Peterborough, he is also widely believed to be the inspiration for Sasha Baron Cohen’s comedy creation Ali G.
Doors for the Priory concert open at 10am and the shows runs until 3.30am. Admission is 5.
