SHEFFIELD is today hosting a stellar line-up of famous foodies at the largest chefs’ conference in the UK.

Organised by The University of Sheffield’s Accommodation and Commercial Services, the 15th annual Skills for Chefs Conference is playing host to 200 leading chefs from all over the country.

Delegates will learn new skills from chefs seen on TV shows like the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and Great British Menu.

David McKown, Head of Training and Quality for ACS at The University of Sheffield, said: “The aim is for chefs to share knowledge and sharpen their business skills in a programme packed full of live demonstrations and presentations.”

The conference will end with a gala dinner served at the University’s Firth Court.
