Time is running out for people to have their say on plans to change polling districts in Doncaster.
Doncaster Council is conducting a review of districts, polling places and stations. The review does not affect ward, constituency or parish boundaries or how residents will be represented either on the Council or in Parliament. It may, however, affect the place where residents currently vote.
Chief executive and returning officer Jo Miller said: “Comments from anyone who is interested are most welcome as part of this review. We would particularly like to hear suggestions for alternative places that may be used as polling stations.”
Representations should be made in writing by no later than Friday, January 9 to the Electoral Services Manager, Legal and Democratic Services, Civic Building, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU.
Results will be published on January 27.
