John Cook: “It has cost taxpayers a small fortune to try to protect the reputation of a few inept/incapable senior officers!
“Hope they go to prison, lose their pensions and are sued to get some of this back. All that supported them, including the lawyers and the union should also be made to repay the taxpayer! There is no way of getting back the grief they have caused unfortunately!
“Yvonne Jackson Should have owned up in the first place and saved the families of the deceased all of this heartache and saved millions of pounds”
Matt DeGirolamo: “Hardy Are SYP fit for purpose? This, the Rotherham scandal... 2 pretty big problems.”
Jason Paul Lawrence: “The people that ordered the cover up should face prosecution.”
Victoria Steelers Carrington: “Charges need to follow, Duckenfield lied and other officers changed statements and that was just the start. The police were not in control of the day and should have recognised that opening that exit gate would lead to problems.
“Lies by the police and now time for prosecutions.”
Wendy Monaireo: “Congratulations to the families who have waited 27 years for the verdict hope you have some sort of closure to the heartache you have gone threw all these’s year !!!!! Gone But Nevet Forgotten.”
