Tickets for studio filming of Doncaster sitcom Open All Hours have been put up for grabs.
The sitcom classic, exterior scenes for which are currently being shot at Balby, will switch to studio shoots for six nights throughout October and November.
Extra details about the show have also been released as filming takes place at a converted hair salon on the corner of Lister Avenue and Scarth Avenue over the next fortnight.
As well as seeing the return of Sir David Jason as Granville, the new series, Still Open All Hours, will see young actor James Baxter reprise his role as Granville’s son Leroy from the Christmas special.
They will be joined by Nurse Gladys Emmanuel (Lynda Baron) and Mrs Featherstone (Stephanie Cole) who return along with Granville’s never-quite-declared old flame Mavis (Maggie Ollerenshaw) who is living with her formidable sister, Madge (Brigit Forsyth).
And joining the locals for the new series are Johnny Vegas as the pessimist Eric and Tim Healy as love sick Gastric.
Studio filming will take place at Teddington Studios, Middlesex on October 10, 17, 24 and November 7, 14 and 21 from 6.45pm.
Tickets will be allocated on a random draw basis and anyone interested can apply for a maximum of two tickets per person up until September 19 at 4pm.
