Thunder are steeled for show

Rock legends Thunder admit they cannot wait to take to the stage in Sheffield.

The quintet, who enjoyed a string of hits throughout the 1990s, including 1993’s top-20 smash A Better Man, play Sheffield Arena’s Steel Hall on Friday, February 19,

And Danny Bowes, lead singer, said: “The shows in 2015 were incredible, and the new songs went down just as well as the Thunder favourites.

“We can’t wait to do it all over again.”

Support comes from renowned Yorkshire rockers Terrorvision, who have reformed for their first shows in three years, plus King King, nominees at the 2015 Classic Rock Awards for best new band.

Leigh Marklew, bassist with Bradford band Terrorvision, said: “We were discussing the idea of getting back into the ring in 2016, so when the call came from Thunder asking us to be their special guests, the timing was perfect.

“We agreed it will be a fun tour, a great way to come back.”
