Thug who headbutted reveller gets a curfew
Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard how Bradley Willis, 21, of The Square, Danesmoor, Chesterfield, attacked Daniel Moules in the beer garden of the Victoria Pub in the town.
Prosecuting solicitor Mark Kennedy said during a hearing on Tuesday, February 16, that Daniel Moules was out drinking in Chesterfield town centre and while he was at the Victoria pub he walked to the beer garden but as soon as he was outside Willis ran at him and headbutted him.

Hide AdThe court heard how the complainant suffered a black eye but the blow did not knock him down.
Willis told police Mr Moules was the boyfriend of someone he did not get along with and he accepts he had become aggressive and had argued with Mr Moules and they had touched heads.
The court also heard how the assault was captured on CCTV.
Willis pleaded guilty to the assault which happened on November 13, last year.
Defence solicitor John Wilford said alcohol is a problem for the defendant and he has recognised this and he has stopped drinking since the attack.

Hide AdMagistrates adjourned the case from Tuesday until Wednesday, February 17, to consider a probation report before sentencing.
Willis was given a 12 month community order with an eight-week curfew and a rehabilitation activity requirement.
He was also ordered to pay £125 compensation and £85 costs.
