Three Sheffield men charged over sandwich shop assault

Three men have been charged in connection with an assault in a Sheffield sandwich shop last Saturday lunchtime.

Jack Walker, aged 20, of Raisenhall Road, Southey Green, Grant Bean, 22, of Masters Road, Southey Green, and David Bean, aged 24, of The Oval, Firth Park, have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

Jack Walker has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

They are to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Police were called at around 1.10pm last Saturday following reports a man had been assaulted in the Beres pork sandwich shop in Herries Road.

The 22-year-old man received hospital treatment for a serious injury but has since been discharged.
