Three Sheffield bands are set to take to the stage this weekend as one of the country’s most popular festivals takes place in Yorkshire.
Leeds Festival will play host to Bring Me The Horizon, The Sherlocks and While She Sleeps.
Rock and metal outfit Bring Me The Horizon, who are all from Sheffield, have surged in popularity since being formed in 2003 and the group will play at Leeds on Saturday evening, just before metal legends Metallica.
Fresh from their stint at Sheffield music festival Tramlines, indie group The Sherlocks are set to play Leeds for the first time.
While She Sleeps, a Sheffield-based metalcore band, will add to the festival’s metal offerings with a set on Friday night.
The festival is set to attract well over 100,000 people across its two sites at Leeds and Reading.
Other acts taking top billing include The Libertines and Mumford & Sons.
